Beetroot and Coconut Ladoo/balls Recipe
Ingredients:
Beetroot grated 1 spoon
Coconut grated 1 and 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Cardamom 3
Butter 1 spoon
Coconut grated 3-4 spoon for garnishing
Method:
First melt the butter in a pan.Once the butter melt put the grated beetroot into the butter and cardamom seeds(you can use cardamom powder also ) fry it for few minutes.Next add the grated coconut and mix with the beetroot.Stir it for few minutes.Now add the sugar and mix it.Cook it until it looks a sticky paste or cook 15--20 minutes.Once it is a sticky dough put the heat off and take a spoon full of coconut paste and keep it in a plate and let it cool for few second.When it is cool make it in round shape using your pump and set aside.Now put the coconut ball into the coconut flakes and let it stick.Keep it in a plate or you can store this coconut balls for 10-15 days and enjoy with tea or coffee.
